PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which optical characteristics can be optimally set without depending on a combination of a panel and a driver.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device 1 has a liquid crystal display panel 10 including a display region 11 where a plurality of pixels are disposed in a matrix; the liquid crystal display panel 10 includes a ROM region 12 disposed along the disposition of the pixels in the display region 11, the ROM region for storing information to adjust optical characteristics of the liquid crystal display panel 10. The information to adjust optical characteristics of the liquid crystal display panel 10 is inherent information to the liquid crystal display panel 10, and the optical characteristics of the liquid crystal display panel 10 are adjusted based on the inherent information of the liquid crystal display panel 10. Otherwise, the information to adjust the optical characteristics of the liquid crystal display panel 10 is difference information excluding common information of the liquid crystal display panel 10, and the optical characteristics of the liquid crystal display panel 10 are adjusted based on arithmetic results of the common information and the difference information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
