PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor which has a high electrification property and high sensitivity even in a case where a content of an electric charge generation material in a photosensitive layer is less than 0.5-2.0 mass % when compared with a case in which a formula a/b representing a distribution of the electric charge generation material in film thickness direction of the photosensitive layer is less than 30, relating to a positive electrification organic photoreceptor having a single layer type photosensitive layer.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a conductive substrate, and a photosensitive layer which is a single layer type photosensitive layer being provided on the conductive substrate, and contains a binding resin, an electric charge generation material in which, with a content in the photosensitive layer being at least 0.5 mass % and less than 2.0 mass %, a distribution in film thickness direction of the photosensitive layer satisfies 30≤a/b(a: the number of electric charge generation materials per a unit cross section in a region from a front surface side in film thickness of the photosensitive layer down to 1/3, b: the number of electric charge generation materials per a unit cross section in a region from a conductive substrate side in film thickness of the photosensitive layer down to 2/3, where a case is included in which b is 0), a positive hole transportation material, and an electron transportation material.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
