PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To project a projected image on a moving object without misalignment in projection mapping.SOLUTION: A projection mapping device detects a target object, and projects the projected image on the target object. The projection mapping device includes an optical flow acquisition unit which acquires, from a captured image of the target object, a motion vector of a pixel unit per unit time of the captured image of the target object; a motion prediction unit which acquires, on the basis of delay time from the detection until the projection, motion in the delay time of the pixel unit from the motion vector; and a compensation image generation unit which deforms the projected image on the basis of the motion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
