PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device which allows a user to communicate with a desired person by using a portable terminal, even when the user is in a location where radio waves cannot reach, or even if the function of a base station is down.SOLUTION: A communication device 100 includes a plug side connector 103 detachable to the socket side connector of a portable telephone to which a cable is attached when transmitting or receiving data to or from another apparatus, a communication unit 106 for transmitting the data while converting into wireless signals, and converting the received wireless signals into data, and a communication control unit 104 for receiving data from a cellular phone via the plug side connector 103, and outputting the received data to the communication unit 106, and receiving the data converted in the communication unit 106, and outputting the received data to the cellular phone via the plug side connector 103.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
