PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing a meandering flow that occurs in an L-shaped space formed by a space between a floor surface of a railway vehicle and the ground surface, and a space between a side surface of a railway vehicle and a tunnel wall surface, which is considered to be a cause of rocking of a railway vehicle, scattering of ballast, etc. that occur while a railway vehicle is running in a tunnel.SOLUTION: In a method for reducing a meandering flow that occurs in an L-shaped space (S) formed by a vehicle underfloor space (S1) between a floor surface of a railway vehicle 1 and the ground surface 2, and a vehicle side space (S2) between a side surface of the railway vehicle 1 and a tunnel wall surface 3, a moving separation plate 4 is provided to the L-shaped space (S) as meandering flow reduction means.
