摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an art relevant to a semiconductor device, which can increase a cross sectional area in a current pathway of a metal block and improve a radiation function.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device comprises: a semiconductor element having a first electrode on one surface in a lamination direction; a second electrode arranged on a position facing the first electrode; a third electrode arranged at a position facing the other surface of the semiconductor element in the lamination direction; a metal block arranged between the first electrode and the second electrode; and a solder layer for connecting the metal block and the first electrode. The semiconductor element has a first projection on an outer periphery, which projects toward the second electrode. The first projection extends to a position closer to the second electrode than a bonding surface of the solder layer and the metal block and has a first surface which faces a first lateral face of the metal block in a region inside an end of the first electrode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
