Pellets or scored tablets which disintegrate in water are made for the enrichment of bread and the like doughs and batters by mixing predetermined amounts of one or more vitamins, e.g., vitamin B1, nicotinic acid, riboflavin, one or more minerals such as iron or calcium containing substances, e.g., iron pyrophosphate, iron reductum or iron phytate, and a solid non-injurious extender such as starch, and compressing predetermined amounts of the mixture. |
