PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect an additional cable to an outer cable while maintaining a tensioning force which is introduced into the outer cable preceding to the connection of the additional cable to the outer cable, when newly constructing new beams for supporting widened portions of a bridge girder on both sides of an existing beam accompanied by the widening of an existing bridge girder, antecedently laying the outer cable between one new beam and the existing beam, and succeedingly laying the additional cable between the existing beam and the other new beam.SOLUTION: One end of an outer cable 4 is anchored to the outside of a cross section of one new beam 2 which is antecedently constructed at one side of an existing beam 1, on the other hand, the other end of the outer cable 4 is anchored to an intermediate anchoring device 6 which is fixed to the outside of a cross section of the existing cable 1 which is shifted to the other new beam 3, an additional cable 5 which is laid in a zone of the other new beam 3 is connected to the side of the other new beam 3 of the outer cable 4 which is anchored to the intermediate anchoring device 6 while keeping the anchored state of the outer cable 4, and the additional cable 5 is laid between the intermediate anchoring device 6 and the outside of the cross section of the new beam 3, and anchored to the other new beam 3 by being tensioned. |
