Slave clock receiving coded time signal - has error detection circuit and optical display

The slave clock receives a coded time signal from a master clock and includes a decoder, an error detection circuit and an optical display. The received time signal is decoded and checked for errors and used to control an internal clock circuit supplying the time signal for the optical display. The time signal stored by the internal clock circuit is released after each time transmission cycle of the master clock and is replaced by the received time signal. The received signal may be checked for errors and the internal clock controlled via a processor block.
