<p>A transport frame for a large horizontal tank, made from glass fibre reinforced plastic, includes a support structure (1-5) and tank location straps (7-10). The cylindrical tank (6) is provided with hemispherical ends (14, 15) which are covered by similarly shaped end caps (16, 17). The end caps are attached to the support frame by means of spring loaded adjuster boltas (21-25). The location straps which encircle the tank are elastic to some extent, thus they provide a shock absorbing tank suspension inside the support frame.</p> |
