PURPOSE:To improve the articulation of reproducing sound, by analyzing the pitch and spectrum of a reproducing signal and synthesizing the sound again, in the reproduction in which the reproducing speed is made different from a tape speed at recording without change of the pitch with an original signal. CONSTITUTION:After a signal reproduced with a different speed from a tape speed at recording is reproduced at a head 4 and AD-converted at an AD converter 6, the signal is written in shift registers 7-1, 7-2 with pulses related to a tape reproducing speed at each specified period and read out with the reference pulse from a shift register not at write-in state. This readout signal analyzes the audio spectrum and pitch at an analyzer 8. The output of the analyzer 8 is applied to a synthesizer 9 to reproduce sound. The pitch is not subjected to the effect of a specified period, since pulses at the next period are generated after the final one period of the preceding region at adjacent periods is finished. |
