PURPOSE:To prevent a belt from being detached from a roller, and to carry a photosensitive material with high reliability by providing a detecting means for detecting a position shift in the width direction of the belt, and a means for varying the axial direction by moving at least the axial end of one roller, based on a result of detection. CONSTITUTION:When a belt 50 is rotated continuously, the belt 50 slips out in one direction of the width directions. For instance, when the belt 50 slips out by a prescribed quantity to the left, an external sensor 140 detects the belt 50, and a detecting signal is inputted to a control part 146. Based on the detecting signal from the sensor 140, the control part 146 operates a solenoid 144, and when a movable bearing 143 of a belt supporting roller 48 is moved upward, the belt supporting roller 48 slightly turns around the right end bearing, and inclined against a heating roller 44. When the belt supporting roller 48 is inclined, the belt 50 on the belt supporting roller 48 is drawn out in the direction vertical to the axial direction of the belt supporting roller 48, and the belt 50 moves in the direction for correcting a position shift. In such a way, a position of the belt can be corrected.
