Apparatus for comminuting and processing large-grained material, such as building rubble, broken-up roadway material or the like, in which apparatus there is provided a first crusher, downstream of which is arranged an output conveyor and a second crusher arranged after the first crusher, which second crusher has a charging conveyor which conveys the mixed grain of the first crusher, and an output conveyor, the two crushers being arranged on a movable lower chassis, the first crusher being an impact roller crusher which can be vertically adjusted above the feed unit constructed as a chain scraper conveyor, a screen-like conveying means, which is arranged downstream of the feed unit of the first crusher, is adjustably mounted and can be shifted into a resting position by an actuating apparatus, being arranged upstream of the second crusher, the output conveyor of the second crusher extending counter to the production direction below the screen-like conveying means as far as below the end of the feed unit of the first crusher.
