PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system, capable of increasing cooling amount of the fuel cell by means other than a radiator. SOLUTION: The fuel cell system includes a heating value detecting means 12, 13, for detecting the heating value of the fuel cell 10 and an evaporation amount control means 22, 23 for controlling the evaporation amount of internal moisture existing inside the fuel cell 10, and controls the evaporation amount of the internal moisture by the evaporation amount control means 22, 23, in accordance, with the heating value of the fuel cell that is detected in the heating value detecting means 12, 13. The heating value of the fuel cell is detected based on power PF output by the fuel cell 10, an output current IF of the fuel cell 10, or a temperature TF of the fuel cell 10. The evaporation amount of the internal moisture is controlled by adjusting the amount of humidification or flow rate of hydrogen and oxygen supplied to the fuel cell 10. |
