PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing provided with excellent seal structure that can prevent the intrusion of foreign matters and the leakage of a lubricant even during the high speed rotation of an outer ring without lowering the sealing performance of a seal member by centrifugal force applied according to the rotation of the outer ring. SOLUTION: In a single-row deep-groove ball bearing 21, fitting parts 25a formed at the outer peripheral part of an annular rubber seal 25 for sealing a space between the inner and outer rings with a ball 4 disposed in between are fitted into a seal fitting grooves 23a formed near both axial end parts of the inner peripheral surface of the outer ring 23, and lip parts 25b formed at the inner peripheral part of the rubber seal 25 are brought into sliding contact with seal contact faces 22a formed near both axial end parts of the outer peripheral surface of the inner ring. The seal contact faces 22a are formed on the outer side wall of a seal groove 27 recessed along the axial direction from both axial end faces of the inner ring 22. The lip part 25b is provided with a seal projection 28 projected from the inner peripheral edge of the rubber seal 25 toward the inside of the seal groove 27 so as to come in sliding contact with the seal contact face 22a. |
