The folding bellows made of a material of limited extendability are fitted between two sections of a linked vehicle. The folding bellows incorporates a rectangular section with rounded corners forming an enclosed tube or tunnel. The folds of the bellows in the straight walls (1,4) have a uniform, relatively small height. The folds have a special shape in the rounded corners. The rounded areas between the bellows walls are formed of special inserts (7-10) whose material in the direction of the periphery are distinctly more stretchable than the bellows walls.
