Guide rails for the circuit boards of a mounting rack at one end 22 of their underside 21 carry centering pins 24, 25. The guide rails have as a securing element a resilient retaining clip 26 the foot 27 of which is set on the underside 21 and a retaining catch 28 which is bent in the direction towards the centering pin 25. The spacing 30 of the front edge 31 of the retaining catch 28 from the centering pin 24 is slightly larger than the distance of the front rim 33 of elongate holes 19 of the module rails 3 to 6 from the front edge 34 of an elongate web 18 forming part of the guide rails. At the other end 23 of the guide rails, as a second securing element, a resilient clamping lug 36 projects parallel to the centering pin 25 and at its free end has a clamping shoulder 37 directed towards the centering pin 25 for encompassing the front edge 34 of the elongate web 18.
