PURPOSE:To provide a thin anode plate, to increase the weight energy density when the surface of a lead sheet is anode-oxidized to form an active material and made into an anode plate, and to prevent a deterioration of the current collecting function even in the use of a long period so as to extend the battery service life. CONSTITUTION:Plural number of lead sheets 1 are superposed and a part of them is incorporated in a form of a specific collector 2. The plural sheets the above part of which has been incorporated are anode oxidized from the surfaces to form an active material. At a part where the lead sheets 1 are not incorporated, the anodeoxidization is carried out from both surfaces of each lead sheet. As a result, the lead sheets are made into active materials up to the core layer at the part not incorporated, but the core layer is not made into the active material at the incorporated part, because the thickness is large there, and it can be left as a collector 2. |
