PURPOSE:To simplify the input operation of a message in a voice pager. CONSTITUTION:A base station 3 is provided with a voice detection section 11 detecting a voice input from a signal obtained via a line interface 4, a DTMF detection section 12 detecting a DTMF signal being a code signal from a pushbutton telephone set, an A/D converter section 5 digitizing a voice signal, and a memory section 6 storing tentatively a digitized data and the input mode of the message is automatically selected based on the combination of functions. Thus, the caller inputs the message without notifying the message input mode of the base station. |
