<p>PURPOSE:To disable the operation of a depression lever when a fixing claw is locked and to prevent an unreasonable force from being applied to an engagement part by locking an operation mechanism which is associated with the depression lever and holding the depression lever at a 2nd position when the fixing claw is locked while engaged with an electronic equipment body. CONSTITUTION:A function extending device 19 is provided with a connector installation surface 26 connecting with a mount surface 25 and the mount surface 26 is provided with a connector 32 to which the connector of a computer 1 is connected. The function extending device 19 is equipped with the depression lever 72 which is projected from and sunk in the connector mount surface 26, an operation plate 73a which operates the depression lever 72 to a 1st and a 2nd position, the fixing claw 35a which is engaged with the front end of the computer 1, and the locking operation mechanism 41 which locks the fixing claw 35a so that it is engaged with the computer 1. An engagement plate 93 is engaged with the operation plate 73 when the fixing claw 35a is locked at an engagement position to lock the depression lever 72 at a 2nd lock position.</p> |
