PURPOSE:To prevent such a case where no charging signal is detected at a mobile station and the talking is carried on with the coins unstored owing to the cut-off of the radio waves and the circuits, the faults of a charging signal system, etc. CONSTITUTION:In a mobile communication system of the public service where the charging signals are sent to a mobile station 2 from a control (fixed) station 5 in a fixed cycle, a charging cycle monitoring circuit 17 is added to the station 2. Thus the station 2 produces the charging signals and supplies them to a public telephone set if no charging signal is received within a fixed time. Therefore it is possible to prevent such a case where the talking is carried on with the coins unstored owing to the faults of the charging signals, etc., against the free talking and also to prevent the unmatch caused between the call charge calculated at the station 5 and the amount actually collected. |
