The furniture item is characterized in that each connected part 1-4 consists of two opposite side pairs 5, 6; 7, 8, which pairs 5 and 6; 7 and 8 are mutually parallel, and which side pairs 5, 6; 7, 8 are connected to one another from their ends to form a polyhedral frame part 1-4, the one side 8 of the side of the polyhedral frame part 1-4 has been extended in the direction of the side 8, and the frame parts 1-4 have been connected to one another such that the extended side 8 will constitute the outer walls of the polyhedron consisting of four polyhedral frame parts 1-4. <IMAGE>
