<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a toner by which the aggregation of toner particles is prevented and the shape, surface compsn. and structure of the toner can easily be controlled and to obtain a developer having satisfactory developing performance, transferability, fixability and cleanability and usable as a one- or two-component developer. SOLUTION: A bonding resin is mixed with a colorant and a resin having a smaller angle of contact with water than the bonding resin in a solvent immiscible with water. The resultant liq. compsn. is dispersed in an aq. medium in the presence of a dispersion stabilizer. The solvent is removed from the resultant dispersion liq. by heating and/or evacuation and the remaining solid is sphered or deformed by heating to produce the objective toner.</p> |
