PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distance-measuring apparatus which eliminates the deterioration of measuring accuracy due to mixing of a plurality of measuring lights and can correctly obtain a distance to an object to be measured at whichever position the object is present within a screen. SOLUTION: A luminous flux from an object to be measured is detected by a pair of photodetecting lenses 2a, 2b spaced a base length. Photoelectric conversion signals corresponding to a luminous distribution pattern of the detected luminous flux are output from a pair of sensor arrays 6a, 6b. An entering position of the luminous flux is selected by liquid crystal shutters 4a, 4b disposed between the sensor arrays 6a, 6b and the photodetecting lens 2a, 2b. The selection of the entering position by the liquid crystal shutters 4a, 4b is controlled by a CPU 12. At the same time, a distance to the object to be measured is operated on the basis of the photoelectric conversion signals at the time. |
