Vehicle door lock with child-safety device

The door lock has an internal operating lever system (1) acted on by a child-safety device (4), for preventing opening of the door from the inside, operated via a reversible electric setting drive (5). The internal operating lever system has a L-shaped lever (1.1) cooperating with the door catch and a one-armed lever (1.2) cooperating with the door handle. Both are pivoted about the same axis (S). The door catch lever is only operated via the door handle lever when the child-safety device is first moved into the inactive position.
