PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable adjustment of applied pressure without any complicated work after assembling by forming a pressure applying means of a main pressure applying means to mainly applying a pressure and a pressure adjusting means for adjusting the applied pressure. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic motor is provided with a pressure applying means which is pressurized in contact with a moving body 15 and a friction plate 17 which is fixed to the external surface of the moving body 15 and the main pressure applying spring 16c is composed of a body part 164a and a hexagonal part 164a. The main pressure applying spring 16c applies the main pressure to a pivot 15b of the moving body 16 and an applied pressure adjusting spring 16b adjusts the applied pressure of the main pressure applying spring 16c by lowering rigidity and elastic coefficient of the pressure applying spring 16 with slits 162a, 162b and 162c. Moreover, after the assembling of the apparatus as a whole, the narrow elongated portions 163a, 163d of the applying pressure adjusting spring 16b are cut with laser and a cutting device and the applied pressure is fine-adjusted by further lowering the elastic coefficient of a plate spring. Thereby, adjustment of applied pressure after the assembling can be realized easily. |
