CULTURE CONTAINER AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING POTATO MICROTUBERS BY USING THE SAME

The present invention relates to a culture container and a process for producing potato microtubers by using the same. The said container comprises an upper lid and a vessel body closely engaged with the lid, and has at least one opening for inoculating, one opening for aerating and/or adding culture medium, and one opening for discharging the medium. The said process includes steps of: (1) inoculating cuttings of potato virus-free plantlets from tube culture; (2) producing plantlets by culturing them in shallow medium under the condition of illumination and intermittent compulsive ventilation; (3) producing microtubers under the condition of darkness and intermittent compulsive ventilation after replacing nutrient medium.
