PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly deliver a sheet from a cylinder disposed at a front side to a cylinder disposed at a rear side by relatively moving in a sheet conveying direction in the case of arriving a suction port at a delivery position of a gripper, and relatively standing still the port and a reversing gripper when the gripper is closed. SOLUTION: After a suction port 4 approaches an impression cylinder 2, a trailing edge of a sheet is grasped by the port 4 by following to an outer edge of an impression cylinder 2. Then, the port 4 is turned inward into an outer edge of a reversing cylinder 3 at a tangentially stable guide orbit. Then, the port 4 is sucked to the cylinder 2, and at the time of starting sucking of the sheet the port 4 has the same speed and acceleration state as those of a trailing edge 6 accurately following over a total sucking step. Thereafter, receiving of the sheet 1 is started, and the sheet is always disposed on a tangential line to an overcoating surface of the cylinder together with a sheet range in which a suction surface is floated. The port 4 and the edge 6 are relatively stopped to the cylinder 3 or a reversing gripper 25.
