PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To instantaneously and continuously display the desired screens by recording plural pieces of information data including the secondary retrieval codes used for the direct retrieval on a recording medium, storing previously plural secondary retrieval codes in the reserved reproducing order and retrieving the corresponding information data from the recording medium to reproduce and display them every time the secondary retrieval codes are read out in sequence. SOLUTION: A serial number A is added to every title stored in a secondary video recording part 3 of a DVD disk, and a serial number B is added to every subname included in every title. Both serial numbers A and B are combined together as a secondary retrieval code. Meanwhile, a recording/reproducing device has an access means with which an optical pickup can directly access the titles corresponding to the number A and the subnames corresponding to the number B. Plural secondary retrieval codes corresponding to the files of desired information to be automatically and continuously displayed are previously stored and then called out automatically and in sequence to reproduce the corresponding information in an information reproduction mode.
