Locking device for the regulating device for the bulging of the reeling roller in a paper machine, said reeling roller being provided with central and gable mantle tubes, said regulating device being placed in the end of the gable mantle tube and essentially consisting of a screw-formed regulating means arranged through a hole in the central shaft, said regulating means controlling a preferably cylindrical control means, again controlling the gable mantle tube. The locking device can be fitted into the control means and lock it in position, and the locking device has an essentially disc-shaped body 21 having a hole 23 for the control means 9 and also clamping parts 24, 25 fastening the locking device to the control means. The inner surface of the hole 23 is convex. One embodiment according to the invention enables locking in any position. Further, the locking is reliable in all positions, and the convex surface enables tilting in axial as well as radial directions. <IMAGE>
