PURPOSE: A device and a method for controlling screen condition of monitor are provided to return to screen conditions required to a user by the request of the user in selecting a recall mode though original conditions are changed by a user's error operation. CONSTITUTION: The device for controlling screen condition of monitor comprises a key input(10), a memory(20), a controller(30) and a display(40). A screen condition which a user is favorite to is set by the key input(10). The screen condition favorite to a user and an initial screen condition in selling a product are stored in the memory(20). The controller(30) selectively extracts the screen conditions stored in the memory(20) in accordance with the request of the user in changing the screen conditions to return to original screen conditions. The display(40) displays the screen conditions returned by the control signal of the controller.
