METHOD FOR NOTIFYING EVENT

PURPOSE: A method for notifying an event is provided to inform the event only to desired client through network in real time by the client registers favorite event and ID. CONSTITUTION: A notifying server(NS,30) manages and updates a database with clients(114-118), who are on-line. On receipt of a message from a messaging monitor the NS determines the receivers of the message by using a database with messages that the clients would like to receive. The NS can refer to a database that is managed by one of several applications server(20,22,24) or can manage a local copy of the databases managed by applications servers.
