PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily enhance heat resistance in a gas inflow part even when it is bent. SOLUTION: This air bag 10 for a head part protecting air bag device is provided with an inflating part 16 stored foldedly in a peripheral edge of an opening inside a cabin to be inflatedly developed to cover the opening when gas for the inflation flows in from an inflator of a cylinder type, and the gas inflow part 14 arranged bently to guide the gas for the inflation from the inflator into the inflating part 16, and an inner tube 28 is arranged in an inner circumferential side of the gas inflow part 14, in the device 10. The inner tube 28 is formed by twofolding plane cloth to be sewn along an axial direction of the inner tube 28, and a sewn portion of the inner tube 28 is arranged in the inner circumferential side bent in the gas inflow part 14.
