PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working machine having a simple motion transmitting mechanism for the changeover operation. SOLUTION: An operating member is composed of a rotor capable of being changed over between a first position (stop), a second position (start) and a third position (actuation of a choke opening/closing mechanism), wherein the choke opening/closing mechanism has a valve rotating round a rotary shaft and an arm member installed on the rotary shaft. The arrangement further includes a transmitting member for transmitting the motion of the rotor to the arm member by movement in the longitudinal direction. The transmitting member extends between the forefront part coupled with the arm member and the base end coupled with the rotor, and the rotor is provided with a relief hole to receive the base end. In the period the rotor rotates from the first to the second position, the base end moves within the relief hole while the transmitting member remains out of movement in the longitudinal direction, and in the period from the second to the third position, the base end movement in the relief hole is restricted, and the transmitting member is moved in the longitudinal direction with the motion of the rotor, and the motion of the rotor is transmitted to the arm member.
