PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a blanket for shoe press capable of reducing a dimensional change in the MD direction/CD direction during use. SOLUTION: In this blanket for shoe press comprising a base fabric 1 composed of a first yarn group 1A which is constituted of warps 2 or wefts 3 and forms a plurality of layers in the thickness direction and a second yarn group 1b which is composed of wefts or warps crossing the first yarn group 1A and fix the interlayers of the first yarn group 1A and a resin 6, in this blanket for shoe press the base fabric 1 has a third yarn group 1C which is arranged in the same direction as that of the second yarn group 1B and is installed on one face of at least one layer in the first yarn group 1A. The dimensional change of the base fabric 1 in the MD direction/CD direction during use can be prevented by the existence of the third yarn group 1C.
