PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a problem that a common rail type fuel injection system effects feedback control of a discharge amount of a fuel feed pump such that an actual common rail pressure detected by an accumulator sensor is adjusted to a target common rail pressure and thereby, since even when fuel leak occurs, leakage thereof is compensated by feedback control, detection precision of leak is adverse. SOLUTION: When the target common rail pressure is stabilized (during steady), a discharge control solenoid valve is controlled only by an open command value (PCO), computed by an open control command value computing means M30 . When, during the open control, an actual common rail pressure detected by the accumulator sensor is below a target common rail pressure over a given range, abnormality is decided by an abnormality deciding means M50 . As noted above, since a behavior of the actual common rail pressure is detected in a state that the influence of feedback control is not exerted, fuel leak can be detected in high precision. |
