PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit, which hardly generates stagnation of cold or warm air in a room, and presents a comfortable indoor space. SOLUTION: In an oblong indoor unit body 1, there are provided a front panel 3 having a base 2, an inlet 4, upside and downside covers 5a, 5b respectively to cover openably upside and downside outlets 6a, 6b, and a slide cover 10 having meshes different in the vertical direction, provided vertically slidably to the front panel. A heat exchanger 8 is installed in opposition to the inlet in an air path 7 connecting the inlet and the upside and downside outlets, to which fans 9a, 9b are installed, respectively. For example in cooling a room, cool air can be supplied from the upside by opening the upside cover, and much indoor air is sucked from the downside of the inlet. Accordingly cool-air does not stagnate in the room, and a comfortable environment can be presented by sliding the slide cover vertically in accordance with an operation mode. |
