<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for winding a conductive tape, taking into account the risk of the degradation of electric performance caused by the suck of air in winding the conductive tape, though the conductive tape has hitherto been wound around the clearance between an external peripheral semiconductive layer of a rubber mold unit and an external semiconductive layer of a cable in a conventional manner, in a connecting part provided with the rubber mold unit for a power cable having an external semiconductive layer at the external periphery of a cable insulation layer. SOLUTION: Both ends of the external peripheral semiconductive layer 2 of the rubber mold unit 1 are formed as extended portions 2-2, 2-2a of different lengths extended from both ends of a rubber insulation body 3, and the extended portion 2-2 that has a longer length is substituted for the conventional conductive tape.</p> |
