PURPOSE: A door-open warning device of a vehicle is provided to prevent drivers from driving the vehicle while a shift lever is in D or R position and a door is opened. CONSTITUTION: A door-open warning device of a vehicle is composed of a warning unit(20) coupled to a battery(10) of the vehicle; a first switch(30) connected to the warning unit in series to release the connection when a shift level of an automatic transmission is in a parking position or a neutral position; and a second switch(40) connected to the first switch in series and linked when a vehicle door is opened. The warning unit has a buzzer for alarming a driver by generating a warning sound and warns the driver with a lamp or a light emitting device.
