PURPOSE: A damper of an air vent is provided to reduce working hours and manufacturing cost by modifying the assembling structure of the body and the shutoff pad with double injection molding process, and to improve the reliability of the product by manufacturing the shutoff pad with elastic and flexible materials. CONSTITUTION: An air vent(100) is installed to discharge air from an air conditioner or a heater to a vehicle room, and a damper(110) is mounted in the air vent to regulate the air flow. The damper of the air vent is composed of a body(114) formed in the air vent and composed of an assembling groove recessed along the side, and a shutoff pad(130) combined with the assembling groove of the body. A rotating shaft(112) is formed in the middle of the body, and the assembling groove is formed at the side of the body. The shutoff pad is combined with the body and press-fitted to the assembling groove. The shutoff pad is made of ethylene propylene diene monomer, and manufactured separately from the body.
