The modular conveyor has longitudinal side struts, connected by transverse frame elements, and at least one driven conveyor. This is a continuously rotating link conveyor (1) of individual similar hinged links (2) connected to each other, and forming a smooth support surface (10). Each link has a bearing for two carrier rollers, located at either side and turnable about an axis extending at right angles to the direction of transport. The rollers move on guide tracks formed on the side struts. Each link has formed integrally with it one of a pair of elements (5) connecting the links.
