The device has a de-icing salt container (1) with several discharge tubes (2), each containing one or more rotating driven conveyor worms (3). Each tube has several expansion sections (5) for the salt flow (4) passing through it, in which the flow is fanned out to increase available spray area. One or more spray devices (6) to distribute a fluid (7), are directed towards the expansion sections and/or areas immediately above, from above, and/or below, and/or the sides. The devices are rigid, position-adjustable, or adjustable in alignment. The expansion section is defined upstream by a compression guide (10) to compress the salt flow before it enters the expansion section.
