METHOD FOR HERMETICALLY FILLING VESSEL WITH HYDROGEN-OXYGEN MIXTURE GAS AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fill a vessel with hydrogen and oxygen in a state of a hydrogen-oxygen mixture gas having high combustion efficiency, and safely treat it in a stable condition for a long period. SOLUTION: This apparatus comprises: a hydrogen-oxygen mixture gas-generating section having an electrolyzing means including a sealable electrolytic tank 10A for storing an electrolytic solution 14, an anode member 2x and a cathode member 2y arranged so as to contact with the electrolytic solution, and a power source 34 for applying electric voltage between them, and having a vibration stirring means 16 for vibration-stirring the electrolytic solution; and a pipe 10B" which is communicated with the inner part of the electrolytic tank, and introduces the hydrogen-oxygen mixture gas generated by electrolysis for the electrolytic solution under vibration stirring, into the vessel. The filling method comprises introducing the mixture gas into the vessel by using the apparatus, and then closing the vessel. The hydrogen-oxygen mixture gas includes 54-70 mol% H2, 0.12-0.45 mol% H, 0.03-0.14 mol% H3(tritium) and HD, 0.3-1.2 mol% OH, 1.0-4.2 mol%16O and 5-27 mol% O2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
