PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remedy or a preventive for renal tubolointerstitial disorder which has heretofore been not so effectively treated by an existing therapy. SOLUTION: The remedy or preventive for renal tubolointerstitial disorder contains as the active ingredient a specific 4,8-inter-m-phenylene prostaglandin I<SB>2</SB>derivative (e.g., beraprost sodium) or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt.
