PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop conversion program per type of machine and reduce labor and cost when storing or taking out operation/diagnosis data of different types of elevators. SOLUTION: In this data collection/management device for collecting and managing operation/diagnosis data obtained from a diagnosis terminal unit of the elevator, definition information for defining operation/diagnosis data of different data formats outputted from the diagnosis terminal units T1, T2 of different types of elevators is provided in data base, definition information I1, I2 corresponding to the diagnosis terminal units is selected, and operation/diagnosis data DC1, DC2 which is different per type of elevator is analyzed and processed based on the selected definition information and is stored in the data base DB. When outputting operation/diagnosis data to an external device, operation/diagnosis data stored in the data base is generated, processed, and outputted based on definition information O1, O2. The definition information is constituted by name of data item, presence or absence of data registration, data length, data form, storage destination, and calculation expression for analytical processing.
