<p>Purification of waste water containing organics such as gasoline, oils or fats involves (A) contacting the waste water in a vessel with a microorganism (-containing substance) which breaks down the organics; (B) allowing the microorganism-containing substance to act on the waste water; and (C) removing the purified water from the vessel. An independent claim is also included for an apparatus effecting the purification and comprising a vessel (1) for the waste water, an inlet (4) and outlet (3) for the water and a device for introducing the microorganism-containing substance.</p> |
