PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new human receptor protein 4-1BB.

SOLUTION: The cDNA has a specific nucleotide sequence encoding the human receptor protein 4-1BB. The human receptor protein 4-1BB has a specified amino acid sequence. The fused protein comprises an extracellular part having the human receptor protein 4-1BB and an alkali phosphatase. The method for treating a T-cell having the receptor protein 4-1BB with a monoclonal antibody recognizing the human receptor protein 4-1BB is also provided to promote the activation of the T-cell.
