<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the optimum system efficiency corresponding to a load, in a motor driving device that drives a brushless DC motor by a coil current of roughly sine waves. <P>SOLUTION: The motor driving device is provided with: an AC power supply 1; an active converter 2; an inverter 3; a motor 4; a voltage impressing means 5; a current command value outputting means 6; a voltage command value outputting means 7; and a DC voltage detecting means 8. If the ratio of a coil voltage command value to a DC voltage value detected by the DC voltage detecting means 8 exceeds a predetermined value, the voltage command value outputting means 7 increases the DC voltage command value. If it is below the predetermined value, the DC voltage command value is decreased. Thus, an optimum DC voltage is always obtained to the coil voltage command value so that highly efficient motor drive is achieved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
