PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chargeable travel system capable of being surely charged automatically while suppressing its cost from steeply rising. SOLUTION: Colors (black formation part BK and white formation part WT) which are different in reflectivity to infrared light are formed at a main body section 101 and a power supply section 102 of a charging device 100, and consequently the width of the power supply section 102 is measured by using variation in sensor output value of a front lateral wall sensor 36F (36FR or 36FL); when the measurement result matches the previously stored width (w) of the power supply section 102, it is decided that the charging device 100 should perform charging, so a special device on the side of the charging device 100 is unnecessary and the charging device is securely found to perform automatic charging.
