PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automated microscope (10) equipped with a stand (1). SOLUTION: A front control panel (40) with a plurality of buttons (41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46 and 47) is arranged on the stand (1). Other buttons (25 and 26) are also arranged on at least one of the side faces of the stand (1), and an objective lens for the microscope (10) is guided to an operating position by operating the buttons.
